Apple iOS 18.3.2 iPhone Alert: Users Report Issues with Latest Update

19.03.2025

Software updates are meant to improve device performance, fix bugs, and introduce new features. However, sometimes they can bring unexpected issues. This appears to be the case with Apple’s latest iOS update, 18.3.2, released on March 11. Users have reported that the Apple Mail app is not functioning correctly, specifically that new iCloud emails are not being pushed to their devices automatically.

According to reports from users on online forums, the issue started after updating to iOS 18.3.2. While all email settings remain correctly configured, new iCloud emails no longer arrive automatically. Instead, users must manually refresh their inboxes to retrieve new messages. Many claim that this problem was not present in iOS 18.3.1, leading to speculation that the latest update introduced a bug affecting Apple’s push email system.

Interestingly, the issue appears to be limited to iCloud Mail. Users report that push notifications for third-party email providers, such as Microsoft Outlook or Gmail, continue to work normally. Additionally, some users running the beta version of iOS 18.4, expected to be released next month, have encountered the same issue, suggesting that Apple has not yet resolved it in the upcoming update.

For those affected, the only temporary workaround is to manually refresh the Mail app to check for new messages. While this ensures that emails are still accessible, it disrupts the seamless experience that push email is meant to provide.

If Apple acknowledges the problem as widespread, they may include a fix in iOS 18.4 or release an intermediate update, such as iOS 18.3.3, to address it sooner. Until then, users experiencing the issue may need to rely on manual refreshes or consider alternative email apps to receive real-time notifications.
